Helena Ruiz Laiseca has a degree in English and German Studies (University of Deusto, Bilbao) and a Master’s in Pedagogical Innovation and Educational Leadership (Ramon Llull University, Barcelona). She previously worked in the Department of Foreign Languages at the University of Deusto and the School of Modern Languages (EIM, University of Barcelona). Since 1992, she has been teaching at the Faculty of Psychology, Education and Sport Sciences in Blanquerna, Ramon Llull University. She is also a member of the research group EUniTA (Tandem E-Learning Platform). Her main area of interest is the use of new technologies in the teaching of English as a foreign language, especially in the application of the flipped classroom.
