The rights of children and play at the Early Childhood and Primary Education school

Although play is a quite studied and known subject in the social and educational fields, we consider it to be very necessary to have a new vision, by linking it to the rights of children and the exercise of their autonomy.

So we will review what we understand child play to be, whether it is necessary for children or not, and the link with their most fundamental rights. To do so, we will consider contributions of all kinds, from those from institutions like UNICEF to the more specific contributions of psychologists, educators and teachers.

We intend to develop an analysis of the current state of play spaces in our schools and present new proposals to improve the educational attention to our children in the conceptual framework proposed above.
